Molecular profiling of oncology patients is being adopted across leading medical organizations. This session consists of a panel with leaders representing diverse medical organizations discussing their approaches and strategies of implementing molecular profiling in order to meet their internal patient and organizational goals.

Biography
Anne-Renee Hartman, MD, was the acting CMO of GRAIL and previously Vice President of Clinical Development and Medical Affairs. While at GRAIL, she created the largest clinical genomics program to develop, validate and demonstrate clinical utility for a pan-cancer early detection blood test. Prior to GRAIL, Anne-Renee was the Senior Vice President of Clinical Development at Myriad Genetics, where she led the development of several commercialized diagnostics in oncology. Anne-Renee was previously an Assistant Professor of Medicine at The Dana Farber Cancer Institute. She completed her oncology fellowship at Stanford where she helped set up the cancer genetics clinic. Anne-Renee holds a BS in Molecular Biology from Princeton University, an MD from The University of Michigan and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at The University of Chicago.

Biography
Cassie Hajek is a Sioux Falls, SD native. She graduated from the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine and completed Internal Medicine residency at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx NY. Prior to completing medical genetics fellowship at the UCLA Intercampus Medical Genetics Program, she practiced outpatient internal medicine at Sanford Adult Medicine in Sioux Falls. Her training was focused on Adult Genetics and the genetics of common complex disease and genomic contribution to risk. Since completing her training in June 2016, she has been a leader in the development of Sanford Health’s preemptive genetic screening program. This has included the design and launch of a system-wide education and return of results program. She is committed to identifying new approaches to integrating genetics and genomics in the care of patients and currently serves as the physician chair and medical director for the Sanford Imagenetics program.

M.D., FACMG, Medical Director, Mark R. Neaman Center for Personalized Medicine, NorthShore University HealthSystem

Biography
Dr. Hulick is the Medical Director of the Mark R. Neaman Center for Personalized Medicine and Division Head for the Center for Medical Genetics at NorthShore University HealthSystem, which applies genomic information to prevention, diagnosis and treatment of human disease with the vision to bring genomics guided care to every patient and their family. He joined NorthShore as an attending physician in medical genetics in 2008 and became Division Head of Medical Genetics in 2012. Dr. Hulick also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Genetics at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. Previously, he served as an attending physician in medical genetics at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Hulick earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in 2001. He completed a residency in internal medicine at St. Luke’s Hospital – Mayo Clinic, and completed a clinical fellowship in medical genetics at Harvard Medical School.

Biography
Dr. Schiffman is the CEO and Co-Founder of PEEL Therapeutics, delivering evolution-inspired medicine to patients. He also co-founded ItRunsInMyFamily.com, an online family history collection tool. Dr. Schiffman is a Professor of Pediatrics and Investigator at Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah and the Medical Director for the Family Cancer Assessment Clinic. He also works as a Pediatric Hematologist-Oncologist at Intermountain Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Schiffman graduated from the Brown University School of Medicine in 2000, followed by clinical training in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at Stanford University from 2000-2008. His academic research and now commercial efforts focus on genomic development of cancer in children and studying animals that naturally are protected from cancer, like elephants. Dr. Schiffman has co-founded several exciting new startup companies to impact cancer diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
