Biography
Michael Snyder is the Stanford Ascherman Professor and Chair of Genetics and the Director of the Center of Genomics and Personalized Medicine. Dr. Snyder received his Ph.D. training at the California Institute of Technology and carried out postdoctoral training at Stanford University. He is a leader in the field of functional genomics and proteomics. His laboratory study was the first to perform a large-scale functional genomics project in any organism, and currently carries out a variety of projects in the areas of genomics and proteomics both in yeast and humans. These include the large-scale analysis of proteins using protein microarrays and the global mapping of the binding sites of chromosomal proteins. His laboratory built the first proteome chip for any organism and the first high resolution tiling array for the entire human genome.

Dr. Tim Bauer is the Vice President, Head of Clinical Science at Everlywell, the digital health company poised to disrupt the 25 billion dollar lab testing industry by providing consumers with at-home lab testing kits that include insightful, easy-to-understand results. Prior to joining Everlywell, Dr. Bauer held leadership and senior clinical scientist positions at biotechnology companies such as SomaLogic and Gilead Sciences. An expert in clinical research with over two decades of experience, he also spent several years developing clinical trials for CPC Clinical Research. Dr Bauer continues to serve as an adjunct faculty and researcher at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, where he has received research grants from the American Heart Association and the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Dr. Bauer earned a Ph.D. in Physiology from Kansas State University and a B.S. and M.S. in Exercise Physiology from Colorado State University. He continued his clinical research training at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, where he completed post-doctoral fellowships in Cardiology and Endocrinology. He resides in Austin, Texas.

Michael Brammer launched FamGenix in 2019, a platform designed to allow patients to record and manage their family health histories and ultimately share this data with healthcare providers. The platform consists of an App patients can download for both iPhone and Android devices for free, and a clinician portal for healthcare providers. The FamGenix App will identify patients who are at an increased risk of hereditary cancers and meet referral criteria for genetic counseling based on NCCN and ACMG guidelines. In 1996, Brammer co-founded Progeny Software. As CEO, he guided the company to accumulating over 2000 customers in more than 80 countries, providing software tools to assist researchers and clinicians in gathering and managing family health histories. In 2015, Brammer sold the company to Ambry Genetics and as CEO, spent 2 years transitioning operations over to them.
