Biography
Brice Le François currently leads the technology research teams at DNA Genotek (microbiome devices) and Diversigen (microbiome services) as a Senior R&D manager. He obtained his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Ottawa and has over 20 years of experience in research across a wide range of fields, including cancer and neuroscience. Since joining the R&D team at DNA Genotek, he has worked extensively on optimizing the stabilization and processing of human microbiome samples. His team spearheaded the development of novel tools and workflows for low biomass samples as well as novel DNA/RNA stabilization chemistries that enable multi-omics analyses of gut microbiome samples and beyond.
