Biography
Jamie earned her BS in chemistry from the University of Rochester and a MD from St. Louis University School of Medicine, where she also completed her pediatrics residency training. She then went on to Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Cancer Center in Houston to complete pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship training. She relocated to Indianapolis after completion of her training to join the faculty at Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) where she also earned a master’s degree in clinical research as part of the Clinical Investigator Training Enhancement Program. Jamie is the Caroline Symmes Professor of Pediatrics and Division Chief of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at IUSM.
