Biography
Mark Stevenson has been Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Thermo Fisher Scientific since August 2017 and has responsibility for the company’s life sciences, analytical instruments, laboratory products and specialty diagnostics businesses, as well as the company’s innovation and digital strategy. He joined the company as Executive Vice President and President, Life Sciences Solutions, through the acquisition of Life Technologies in 2014. Mark previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Life Technologies, and President and Chief Operating Officer of Applied Biosystems. Mark received his MBA from Henley Management School and his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Reading, both in the U.K. He serves on the board of the Personalized Medicine Coalition.
