Talk
Reducing polygenic disease risk through embryo selection
Current IVF practice involves selecting embryos for transfer based upon their appearance under a microscope. Contemporary genetic testing provides a new opportunity to prioritize embryos with the lowest risk of developing polygenic disease. This presentation will address several misconceptions surrounding the validity and ethics of polygenic risk scoring for embryo selection.
