Biography
Mr. Tal Zaks works as Chief Medical Officer of Moderna. since March 16, 2015. Mr. Zaks serves as Head of Global Oncology Division and Senior Vice President of Sanofi-Aventis U.S. LLC. Mr. Zaks began his industry career at GlaxoSmithKline in the Genetics Research group, where he built an oncology translational medicine team and led genetics, translational, and clinical research on lapatinib as well as the in-licensing and clinical development of foretinib. In addition to his work at Sanofi, he serves as an adjunct Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Zaks has served as a Volunteer Physician at the Philadelphia Veterans Administration Medical Center, treating patients with genitourinary cancers.
