The PMWC 2020 Wellness & Aging Showcase will provide a 15-minute time slot for selected companies in Wellness and Aging to present their latest technologies to an audience of leading investors, potential clients, and partners. We will hear from selected companies that build innovative solutions and harness the power of digital health, genomics, and data science with the goal to proactively prevent disease, maintain optimal health, and slow down aging.

Biography
Marvin Singh is a pioneer in clinical applications of precision health and is one of few physicians in the country who is fellowship trained in Integrative Medicine and Gastroenterology. He has been a faculty member at prestigious universities and enjoys collaborating with scientists and researchers to fine tune his protocols. He is an invited speaker for the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and a contributing faculty to the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine. He is passionate about educating other physicians regarding how to optimize gut and whole health. As a thought leader in the field, he brings a unique perspective to how medicine will be practiced in the future.

We will outline the key elements of health and chronic illness, while outlining what precision testing can be utilized to help optimize health and prevent disease by providing information that will allow the clinician to create a meaningful clinical protocol.

Biography
Eric finds and develops high-impact drug targets and biomarkers via deep molecular phenotyping of human cohort samples and clinically-relevant machine learning and systems biology analytic pipelines. He co-founded BIOAGE to apply these strategies to developing therapies to extend human healthspan and lifespan. Eric was previously an assistant professor at the University of Toronto focusing on biomarker discovery and characterization in high-dimensional datasets from human cohorts. He completed an MD, residency, and research fellowship in computational biology, held a Canada Graduate Scholarship from the CIHR, and was subsequently a CIHR research fellow. Eric is a licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada and a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Biography
Joseph Lamb completed his education at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA and his Internal Medicine residency at Presbyterian University of Pennsylvania Medical Center. Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Holistic Medicine/Integrative Medicine, he is a Founding Diplomate of the American Board of Integrative and Holistic Medicine. In 2013, he achieved certification as an Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner. Dr. Lamb is the Principal Investigator for LIFE-HOUSE – a Lifestyle Intervention and Functional Evaluation: a Health OUtcomes SurvEy. Past experiences include 17 years of private practice in Alexandria, Virginia and 4 years as Senior Clinician at the Hypertension Institute in Nashville, TN. Dr Lamb has been the Primary Investigator in over 75 clinical studies to date. He has lectured internationally and authored multiple book chapters and academic papers. Recently, he co-authored a text-book, Vascular Biology for the Clinician

LIFEHOUSE: Personalized Interventions Improving Health Outcomes
LIFEHOUSE (Lifestyle Intervention and Functional Evaluation - a Health OUtcomes SurvEy) is a longitudinal research project designed to evaluate the impact of a personalized lifestyle, precision medicine intervention program.

Biography
Cindy builds partnerships with innovators to drive deep multi-omic phenotyping of multi-ethnic populations toward a future of real-time individualized healthcare. After completing her Ph.D. at UCSD, she joined Illumina as a Scientist where she founded their Consortia Program working in collaboration to build over 40 diverse array and sequencing-based tools in support of applications from psychiatric disease to advancing the global bovine dairy industry. She now leads population health initiatives in the western US for Metabolon. Cindy is an experienced consultant in the area of go-to-market strategy for startups and holds advisory board positions in several non-profits. She identifies strongly as a STEM mentor and coach for women in the sciences

Biography
Dr. Pamila Brar is Chief Medical Officer and Clinical Phenotyping Research Lead at The J. Craig Venter Institute. In this capacity, she oversees the clinical aspects of a novel research effort that combines the power of genomics, metabolomics and microbiome with electronic medical records and artificial intelligence to identify markers of health and disease. From 2015 to 2018, Dr. Brar served as Medical Director of the Health Nucleus at Human Longevity, Inc, a precision medicine research clinic. In that role, Dr. Brar led a multidisciplinary team responsible for the integration of whole genome sequencing, microbiome, metabolome and whole-body imaging, as well as the delivery of results to the participants. Pam holds an MD degree from Louisiana State University at New Orleans. She is certified both by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine. Dr. Brar is a graduate of the Scripps Clinic Internal Medicine Residency Program and was named the Ellen Browning Scripps Chief Medical Resident in 1998. She then joined the Division of Internal Medicine at Scripps Clinic where she practiced from 1999 to 2009. Pam then opened her own private concierge medicine practice in 2009 in La Jolla, CA. She served as President for the American Academy of Private Physicians from 2015 to 2017. Founded in 2003, the AAPP is a national non-profit organization that provides advocacy for the direct patient-doctor relationship and explores solutions to our changing health care system. Ultimately it was her love for science and innovation that led her to pivot from clinical practice to a precision-medicine based clinical research.

Biography
Peter was top-2 cited Russian physicist under 35 before he switched to biotech 15 years ago. In 2015, he co-founded Gero, AI-driven longevity startup focused on developing therapies that will extend a healthy human lifespan. He continues his studies in the field of aging biology and biophysics serving as Gero Chief Science Officer and currently has more than 70 papers published in peer-reviewed journals.

A healthcare nerd with a passion for leveraging technology to solve the industry’s toughest problems, Erin has held a range of business development, corporate development, and product strategy roles at leading health tech companies including Redox, athenahealth, Doximity, and Rock Health. She holds a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
